Biography:

Randy Baumgardner is a legislator in the U. S. state of Colorado. Elected to the Colorado House of Representatives as a Republican in 2008 he won election to the Colorado Senate in 2012. He represents Senate District 8 which encompasses Garfield Grand Jackson Moffat Rio Blanco Routt and Summit Counties. Baumgardner announced his candidacy for U. S. Senate in July 2013; the Republican primary will be held on June 24 2014.
