Doudou Diène

Biography:

Doudou Diène of Senegal was United Nations Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism racial discrimination xenophobia and related intolerance in 2002—2008. Diène holds a law degree from the University of Caen a doctorate in public law from the University of Paris a diploma in political science from the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris and an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies Between 1972 and 1977 he served as Senegal's deputy representative to UNESCO.
