Biography:

Romualdas Ozolas is a Lithuanian politician activist writer and pedagogue. Teacher at the Vilnius University. Member of the Lithuanian branch of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1973 to 1990. Member of Lithuanian independence movement the Sąjūdis Initiative Group from 1988 to 1990. In 1988 he founded the nationalist Vilnija organization. Member and chairman of the Lithuanian Centre Union political party from 1993.
