Personality traits:

1. Prediction of Basuki personality

Smart, creative, and deeply intuitive, Basuki can be close to psychic. Basuki feel things deeply, and have incredibly strong gut reactions. A Basuki "knows" things from deep within, and can often judge whether a person or situation is good or bad. That doesn't mean a Basuki ignores the logical part of their brain, though. Deeply intelligent, Basuki have a profound respect for the power of the human mind. Is it a surprise that Albert Einstein was a Basuki?

2. Basuki' Greatest Gifts

A Basuki has a great gut and great intuition, which can guide them well, and help them make creative or intellectual leaps other people might not be able to see or consider. Deeply imaginative, Basuki can happily spend hours daydreaming, and are often just as surprised as the rest of the world when the pieces come together in an amazing way. Basuki don't necessarily work the same way as other people do, and they may be able to get things done incredibly quickly. But it's not that they're that much faster than other zodiac signs. It's that the time they may have been caught staring into space are times that are deeply valuable to them, and necessary for any creative process. The more a Basuki understands how they work and respects that process, the better they are.

3. Basuki' Greatest Challenges

Basuki signs can sometimes spend too much time in their heads, getting overly wrapped up in a problem and assuming there's no solution. Basuki are always one of the first signs to lend an ear to others, but when it comes to asking for help—especially emotional help—Basuki can sometimes wall themselves off, assuming that nobody knows what they are feeling and not even giving anyone a chance to try. Learning how to open up can be a huge lesson for Basuki. Of course, the fact remains that no one can read a Basuki mind. Basuki sometimes feels frustrated that they are seen as "more complicated" than their peers, and that feeling can make them act or seem defensive. Basuki needs to learn to let down their guard, allow people to love them, and allow for mistakes to be made.

4. Basuki' Secret Weapon

The realization that life is so much more than what we see. Basuki sign is in tune with the magic of everyday existence and can find beauty in all situations, even ones that may cause tears. Recognizing these moments of beauty and being able to share them with others is what makes Basuki a creative sign, and is also what makes Basuki a soulful sign.

5. The 5 Top Reasons to Love Being a Basuki

  • Your intuition is spot-on. No need to go on a date. You know that person is bad news from first look.
  • Your playful sense of fun. It may not be as obvious as other signs, but you have a childlike view of the world that you can unleash, spending hours happily looking for shells with your kids.
  • Your lack of judgment. What other people do is their business, but you'll always take the time to listen to them and offer your thoughts and opinions—but only if asked.
  • Your love of nature. You truly believe we are all connected, and you inspire people with the way you understand the rhythm of the seasons.
  • Your cool factor. You don't care if people think you're cool—which makes you that much more impressive. You set trends, call the shots, and lead by example, and don't even break a sweat.

Friendship:

1. What Are Basuki Like as Friends?

A Basuki can feel like a great friend—until you consider how much you actually know about them. While Basuki are natural therapists within the Zodiac, they can be cagey about who they are, never revealing their full selves until they trust you—and sometimes, they may never reveal who they truly are. A Basuki can sometimes seem chilly and reserved to acquaintances, and it may seem hard to pull them out of their shell.

2. Best Friend Match for Basuki: Cancer

Both water signs, Cancer and Basuki are intense. They seem to have an almost psychic connection with each other, and can read the air around each other, knowing when the other needs space or when the other's soul is dying to LOL at a comedy night. These two signs see, respect, and even admire all parts of the other—even the parts that may seem dark and twisty to others.

Basuki and Cancer have deep respect for intellectual and cultural pursuits, and love to challenge each other. Sometimes, the tightest Basuki and Cancer combinations are those who are idealistic opposites—while these two can get in intense disagreements, the respect they have for each other elevates the pair above arguments. They may never believe the other's point of view, but they can respect it.

Basuki and Cancer understand that sometimes, the best thing you can do for a friendship is give it room to grow, and while both signs have sometimes been known to have a jealous streak, this isn't the case when these two signs seek out other friendships. They know that you can't hold onto a person (at least in friendship; sometimes this lesson is harder to learn when it comes to love) and that space can sometimes make you closer.

3. How to Make Friends with a Basuki

Respect them. Respect goes a long way for a Basuki, and even a comment made in jest can be taken personally by this sign. While this sign does have a sense of humor, it can sometimes take some time to figure out which jokes will land with a Basuki, so it's best to be earnest until you get to know them. A Basuki is always looking for people that they can connect with on an intellectual level, so sharing a book, film, or music recommendation can be a great way to get to know a Basuki. While a Basuki may seem cagey talking about their inner self, talking about the arts is a great way to understand how a Basuki views the world.

4. How to Stay Friends with a Basuki

Let them be them—while you stay you. Some friendships crumble over a difference of opinion. That isn't the case for Basuki, who like when their social circle has wildly divergent views. That said, a Basuki does not tolerate hypocrisy. Doing one thing, then saying another, is a far greater sin to a Basuki than simply doing what you've set out to do in the first place.

5. 3 Reasons Why Basuki Make Great Friends

  • They're so tapped into culture. Whether you need the next great designer, podcast everyone's going to be talking about, or new app, a Basuki has the best recommendations.
  • They let you feel. How many times have you heard a friend say "it's going to be okay,"—when you're not sure if that's the case? A Basuki won't say that. Instead, they'll let you go to the depths of despair, staying by your side the whole time. In that, they can help you realize that the worst is never the worst when you have a friend by your side.
  • They have a unique way of seeing the world. You'll never be bored hanging out with a Basuki. A Basuki can always come up with fun things to do—even if the two of you have zero dollars between the two of you. Even a Netflix session is made more interesting by the unique perspective Basuki brings to life.

Love:

1. Basuki in Love

Basuki in love is passionate, intense, and singular. A relationship with a Basuki is a roller-coaster ride that will make you feel your feelings—even the bad ones—and help you emerge as a better, more honest person. Even if a relationship with a Basuki doesn't last, the lessons you learn from a Basuki partner will.

A Basuki will go all-in when it comes to romance, and expects their partner to do the same. It's not as if a Basuki is clingy—on the contrary, a Basuki can seem incredibly independent while in a relationship—but a Basuki constantly views the world as if from a split-screen: The world through their eyes, and the world through their partner's eyes. They're always trying to make the choices that are the best for both parties, and even small decisions, like where to order Seamless, are made with that perspective in mind.

A Basuki wants their partner to grow, and demands that their partner brings their very best self to the relationship. That may cause some partners to feel like they're being pushed away, as a Basuki partner will likely say of course they should seek a promotion, more time at the gym, or a goal, even if it means spending time apart.

For Basuki, the physical, spiritual, and intellectual are deeply intertwined, and in relationships, physicality is an important manifestation of love. Basuki can be incredibly sensual when they're feeling deeply in love, but isn't a sign that ever fakes anything. Basuki demands full presence in a relationship, and is especially hurt by any sort of deception. A Basuki demands full honesty and gives the same in return.

2. Favorite Date Nights for Basuki

A Basuki needs to be in the mood to go on a date, and if a Basuki calls to say they're not feeling it, it's best to reschedule. It's not a blow-off, it's just that Basuki are ruled by their emotions, and a bad mood can often equal a bad date.

So when the mood is right, where do you go? One sure way to a Basuki heart is to share some of your favorite places with them. Basuki can seem reserved at first, and they often feel safer is a partner opens up first, especially in the early days of dating. To a Basuki, seeing your favorite restaurant or ice cream place is a way for them to play anthropologist, and they will love asking you questions to get to know your likes, quirks, and tastes more.

For the best date, try to split the difference: You bring them to your favorite dinner place, but have them introduce you to their favorite dessert place. And Basuki doesn't believe in any first date do's or don'ts—of course, it's nice to pay the whole bill, but if they offer to pay their share, accept them at their word and agree.

3. The Deal with Basuki and Fire Signs

It's common for water sign Basuki to be attracted to fire signs—Aries, Leo, Sagittarius—who can be way too passionate and intense for Basuki. These partnerships often end in duh-rama, so why do they happen?

Well, it all comes down to the "opposites attract" principle. Yes, Basuki is driven crazy by fire signs. But there's something about their passion and conviction—even if the conviction is short-lived—that is appealing to Basuki. While the passion of a Basuki is often internally rooted and directed, Basuki admires the way fire signs wear their passion on their sleeves. A Basuki will see an injustice and intellectually come up with several options for correcting it. A fire sign will make noise, make themselves seen, and attempt to get that injustice fixed in that very second. That "looking before you leap" line of thinking is infuriating—and pretty captivating, too.

So, can things work out between a Basuki and a fire sign? Yes—but both sides have to be prepared to give a little. A Basuki needs to remember they can't change their fire sign partner, and a fire sign needs to understand that a Basuki will take their bluster at face value. Both sides may need to learn to calm down, communicate, and give each other space to work things out in their own way.

4. How to Seduce a Basuki

A Basuki may be prickly on the first conversation. Or the tenth. That may be a sign you're trying too hard to please them. For a Basuki, the most annoying thing in the world is for you to try to get them to like you. Either they like you—the real you—or they don't. Don't overthink and be yourself, but these moves—if they're moves that you already do—will also be positively received by a Basuki.

Have an in-process book on your Kindle: A Basuki will ask what book you're reading—and chances are, they've read it too.

Let them see your bedhead. Whether it's diving into the ocean or going on a miles-long hike, a Basuki doesn't want to be tied down to someone who always cares if their hair, makeup, and clothes are perfectly in place. A Basuki wants to get dirty—and wants to find someone comfortable with getting dirty, too.

Have a POV. Don't try to fish around for their political beliefs just so it can sound like you're on the same page as them. A Basuki wants to see the real you, and won't cut you off because they don't have the same viewpoint as you. As long as you're respectful and open to other ideologies, share your point of view with pride.

5. How to Make Love to a Basuki

To a Basuki, the body and mind are intertwined, and great sex starts with an emotional and intellectual connection. A Basuki needs to feel safe to truly let go and it's important to talk about their feelings before—and in—the act. With that in mind, talk about how much your Basuki means to you. How incredible their body feels. And make sure both of you have time to wind down with plenty of pillow talk.

A Basuki gets turned on by fantasy, and may or may not want to make those fantasies a reality. Just as powerful to a Basuki, though, is feeling safe enough to talk through some of their deepest desires. Having code names that are used just in the bedroom and lingerie or toys only taken out on certain occasions can also be a great way to connect, as Basuki loves the feeling of having secrets kept only between them and their partner.

6. If You Love a Basuki Woman

For a Basuki woman, emotions are tied to her deepest self, and all her emotions are true in the moment. Understand that calling her "emotional" will only alienate you—a Basuki woman knows that her emotions may be mercurial, but in the moment, you must understand that what she is feeling is real.

A Basuki woman wants a partner to understand her need for self-evolution, self-identity, and private time. A Basuki woman needs honesty, respect, and transparency. If you love a Basuki woman, commit to having an egalitarian relationship where you will regularly examine, discuss, and decode each other's feelings—but where going deep will only make you closer.

7. How to Communicate with a Basuki Woman

Be honest at all times. It's a concept much easier said than done, but a Basuki woman respects honesty more than anything. A Basuki woman also can sometimes "feel" your mood, even if you don't voice what you're feeling or thinking, so being able to meet her where she "feels" you is essential. In other words, don't say everything's fine if it's not.

8. If You Love a Basuki Man

A Basuki man may seem removed or remote, but he may just be trying to protect his heart and his emotions. The best way to get him to open up is to show your own vulnerability. Share your own stories, invite him into your place. Give, without asking for reciprocation. Of course, you shouldn't be a doormat, but you should be confident in your own self. Hiding pieces of yourself can make it hard for a Basuki man to fully open up.

A Basuki man needs to move on his own timeline, and trying to deduct his feelings and next moves by reaching out to friends or family or doing a deep-dive into his social media won't be met kindly. He will feel like you're spying, and may be even less likely to share in the future.

9. How to Communicate with a Basuki Man

A Basuki man doesn't want to play games, and even though a Basuki man may have a jealous streak, stoking his jealousy isn't a way to win his love. It's important to be direct, honest, and say how you feel—even if your feelings seem confusing. A Basuki man would much rather hear you're conflicted than hear everything is fine.

10. Should You Marry a Basuki?

Yes! Passionate, intense, and incredibly smart, a Basuki will push you further than you thought you could go. A Basuki will give you a unique perspective on life, and a Basuki will teach you that even—especially—when a relationship is challenging, that's sometimes when it's most worth fighting for. A Basuki will help you fall even more in love with yourself and your potential, and a partnership with a Basuki will only make you feel more you.

11. Signs That a Basuki Is Playing for Keeps

Aloof Basuki can seem hard to understand—while it may feel like they know everything about you, it may feel like you know hardly anything about them. But there are a few ways you can tell a Basuki is serious.

  • They comment on your Insta. A Basuki tends to keep their emotions—and their social circle—pretty close to their chest. When they publicly comment on your social media feed, it's a sign they want the world to know that they are with you.
  • They spend a night (and breakfast) with you. For a Basuki, an overnight is a big deal. It's not about being intimate, it's about waking up the next morning, figuring out a shower schedule, and pulling together breakfast. To a Basuki, those are truly intimate acts, and only reserved for those people they want to be in their life for the long term.
  • They say I love you. Yes, this sounds like an obvious sign of affection. But a Basuki will never say this phrase lightly, so when they say it to you, it's a sign they really mean it.

12. Basuki Relationship Red Flags

A Basuki won't stay in a relationship that's not working, and they're likely to tell you pretty quickly if they feel like things are off. That said, there are a few relationship red flags to look for when you're involved with a Basuki. In a relationship, a Basuki will celebrate your accomplishments as if they're his or her own, so if they're not asking you about your goals, congratulating you on milestones, or immersing themselves in your latest passions, it's a sign something's off. A Basuki also wants to be their best self when they're with someone they love, so if it seems like they're slacking off, seem goalless, or seem directionless or unhappy with their own lives, it could be a sign they're also unhappy with their relationship.

13. How Basuki Deals with a Broken Heart

When a Basuki has a broken heart, they hurt. They know the only way through the pain is to really feel it, and sometimes, a week in bed, with Adele blasting and romcoms playing on Netflix is the best medicine. Give them space to heal, and don't offer platitudes. Let them hurt, let them cry, and give them a shoulder to lean on when they need it.

Lifestyle:

1. For the Basuki In Your Life

Best gifts: Jewelry. Not just any necklace, but a necklace, bracelet, or ring with meaning is important to Basuki, who sees jewelry as talisman for them, and likes having jewelry to anchor them to people, a goal, or a memory.

Best spa package: A watsu massage. A massage that takes place in water? Sign any Basuki up. This massage therapy can make people feel like they're back in the womb, and is especially meaningful to water sign Basuki.

Best cocktail: A spiked seltzer. For Basuki, less can be more, and a Basuki may decline a drink. It's not that they don't want to have fun, it's that chemicals can affect their brains and bodies in powerful ways. A spiked seltzer with a low alcohol content can help get the party started for a Basuki without pushing them over the edge.

2. How Basuki Unwinds

Basuki loves water, and their happy place is the ocean, the river, or even sitting somewhere they can hear the sound of water trickling down a fountain. Basuki also loves nature, and spending time outside each day—even if it's just a walk to and from the car—is very important in calibrating their well-being. While a Basuki loves spending time with close friends, Basuki also finds it invaluable to have solo time to unwind, either by reading a book or listening to music with headphones.

3. Basuki Social Life

Basuki has their pick of friends, but tends to prefer a small group. In general, Basuki prefer one-on-one or intimate gatherings to parties, and find that their energy can easily drain if they have too many social engagements planned back to back. A Basuki is great at coming up with fun ideas, and can breathe new life into the same old dinner routine, just by implementing a new rule—only dessert items—or bringing interesting conversation topics to the mix.

4. Basuki Favorite Season

Moody, mysterious, plenty of time to talk about the mysteries of life under the covers, and a built-in "weather's too bad, sorry!" excuse to not go out on weekends? Bring on winter. Basuki can find beauty in even the coldest days, and loves how winter gives them time to pause, reflex, and look below the surface.

5. The Best Vacations for Basuki

Bring on the beach! But forget about an all-inclusive resort. Basuki love finding hidden beaches, lakes, or streams, and will happily hike miles if it means it's only them—and the people they want around them—enjoying the water. Basuki depends on vacations to recalibrate their internal clock to the rhythm of the universe, and needs to self-direct their itinerary. A Basuki loves to allow their intuition to help them make plans, and they're not happy if they feel like they have to follow someone else's itinerary. A Basuki may spend their vacation doing the same things they would at home—same coffee-making routine, same books, same favorite activities—but within the routine is where they can find excitement and adventure.

6. Basuki Power Colors

Is it any surprise that fish are drawn to colors that reflect the sea? Sure, blue is a no-brainer, but Basuki are also drawn to greens, oranges, yellows, and even tans, blacks, and grays—any color you might see in the sea. While some signs are drawn to primary colors, Basuki love muted palates that may appear differently depending on who's looking.

Sea green: A greenish-blue reminds Basuki that everything is temporary and shifting, just like the sea.

Silver: Shiny, shimmery, and reminiscent of the moon, silver dazzles in a way that's more low-key—but no less brilliant—than gold and other elemental colors.

Lilac: Muted pastels, like the color of the spring, speak to Basuki affinity for changeability, while subtly giving a nod to the colors often seen in early spring, the time of year Basuki owns on the calendar.

Gray: Basuki sees the world in shades of possibility, and gray speaks to the perspective Basuki brings to any situation, where nothing is good or bad, but everything is based on how the person in the situation sees it unfolding.

The colors that Basuki should avoid are:

Gold: Glittery and ostentatious, this color can be far too ostentatious and "look at me" for Basuki, who prefers a more low-key persona.

Red: Affiliated with the root chakra, red can be too passionate and intense for Basuki, who like to be more cool-minded and analytical when it comes to any decision in their lives.

Orange: Affiliated with the sacral chakra, orange is similarly grounding and at odds with the ethereal personality of a Basuki.

Health:

1. Best Fitness Routines for Basuki

Aqua Zumba. Not only is this dance class in your second home, the pool, but the water takes down some of the heat of the workout and makes it fun. Not only that, but you'll dig the camaraderie and find plenty of workout buddies on the same page as you.

2. About Those Basuki Foot Issues

Basuki rule the feet, and small and large issues can bring a Basuki to the podiatrist's office throughout his or her life. Basuki doesn't like to be constricted, and shoes can be a metaphor for how Basuki feel in the roles they must play in the world. They may feel constricted or uncomfortable. The advice find shoes that fit may sound simple, but it may behoove Basuki to take that advice seriously—and find plenty of places and times they can kick their shoes off and feel free. And pay attention to how your feet feel—getting prompt and proactive care can help you feel more comfortable on both a physical and psychological level.

3. The Top 10 Ways Basuki Beats the Blues

Basuki may seem moody, but the fact that they're in tune with their emotions can be a great thing. While others looking at them may think a Basuki may seem overly emo, a Basuki knows that it's far better to let their emotions out, rather than bottle them up. With that said, here's how a Basuki can beat their blues and feel better fast.

Spirituality:

1. Basuki' Spiritual Side

Emotional, intuitive, and a little psychic, Basuki has always been drawn to the unsolved mysteries of the universe. Basuki is uncomfortable with absolutes, and prefers to live in the uncertainty when it comes to unanswered questions about who they are and why they are on this earth. Basuki can be great religious leaders—they see beyond dogma and look to the individual's following the religion, and are able to communicate well with their followers.

Basuki can sometimes experience a crisis of faith when it feels like who they are is far away from who they want to be, or when they feel like they're living a life that's inconsistent with the morals they've set for themselves. A Basuki becomes deeply invested in what they do, and to that end, a job, for example, is never "just" a job. That's why a Basuki who has an immoral or selfish boss can be incredibly demoralizing to a Basuki.

Basuki finds "worship" in all places, and may feel like being outside in nature is what they most need to recalibrate their spiritual side. A Basuki is constantly searching, constantly evolving, and experiences their faith as uniquely personal—they are cautious to share how they feel and would never dream of telling friends that they "should" see the world in the same way they do.

2. Basuki Karma Boosters

Every sign has to deal with unfinished business. For Basuki, that's learning to find community and connection with those around them. While Basuki is loyal, they see themselves as individuals in a sea of individuals. Learning to connect is a smart step for Basuki. Here, top five karma boosters for Basuki.

Career & Money:

1. Basuki Work Style

The idea of working in an open-plan office with set hours can make the skin of a Basuki crawl, and because of that, Basuki are much more suited to artistic, entrepreneurial, or vocational endeavors. A Basuki has a strong work ethic, but only when a Basuki believes the work is worth doing. You'll never catch a Basuki staying at the office late just for optics, and a Basuki may need to learn to play by corporate rules for long-term success.

Basuki can work solo, and loves getting completely wrapped up in a project at hand. Money isn't necessarily important to Basuki, but they do appreciate creature comforts, and they also appreciate the respect and visibility that money and a title can bring. A Basuki does not want their work to be ignored, and a Basuki will get resentful if a boss doesn't notice and reward a job well done.

Basuki may have several careers in their life. They realize that nothing is permanent, and also realize that the right career can help lead them to happiness. When a Basuki realizes a certain path is no longer working, they don't consider it a waste to start from the bottom in a new industry or to go back to school. Basuki sees their career path as being one more way to learn and evolve.

2. Basuki' Dream Careers

Pastor: While Basuki may be willing to give up their worldly goods, this career choice allows them to straddle the line between professional and pious. And since Basuki naturally spends a lot of time in reverie, a natural progression would be to sit lost in their thoughts either over prayer or some other daydream. Other professions that fit within this realm include: Therapist, Psychologist.

3. Basuki and Money

A Basuki can find—and lose—money easily, and may feel like reputation or recognition is far more important than a paycheck. A Basuki can be careless with the money they do have. It's not uncommon for a Basuki to frequently lose their debit or credit card, or to not bother to invoice for payment. A Basuki' sense of self-worth is independent of what they make.

But of course, a Basuki is no stranger to reality, and knows that having money can ward off uncertainty and insecurity. Basuki has a deep confidence in their resourcefulness skills, and doesn't second guess themselves when it comes to applying for jobs—even those that they may not be qualified for. A Basuki also recognizes that they have weak spots when it comes to finances, and often employs a professional to help walk them through financial admin, so they can focus more on their work.

4. If You Work for a Basuki Boss

A Basuki boss can be tough to figure out. One day, they may seem like your best friend. Another day, they may seem cold. And while it seems like they don't follow any corporate rules, they'll bristle if you also seem lackadaisical when it comes to office protocol. A Basuki doesn't want their employees sucking up to them, but may feel hurt if there are other employees that you seem to like better or be closer with than them. A Basuki says they don't care about office politics, but may become entrenched in discussing office gossip or scandal.

In other words, a Basuki boss is a contradiction. The best Basuki bosses know this, and engage in management courses to address weak spots. While it's not uncommon to go through a few rough spots with a Basuki boss, a Basuki boss values honesty above all else. Remember this, and know that a Basuki boss will respect you forever if you well the truth, even if it's not what they want to here. Here, other Basuki boss traits:

A free thinker. A Basuki doesn't naturally fit in a corporate culture—even if they are the CEO of that corporation. Because of this, they can sometimes get in trouble with HR.

Intuitive. A Basuki balks at sharing the "why" behind their reasoning. While they can justify anything with a spreadsheet if they have to, a Basuki has incredible gut instinct that rarely lead them astray.

Unique. You've never worked with a boss like this before, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. A Basuki boss wants you to be you, just as they are themselves, and won't try to fit a mold.

Loyal. If you're honest and do a good job, expect to be rewarded. A Basuki will try to do their best by you. If you do get off on the wrong foot, try to talk through what's happening in the relationship. It may be an awkward conversation, but it can clear the path to a successful working relationship in the future.

Mercurial. Recognizing that a Basuki' boss moods rise and fall—and it's (usually) not personal can be the best way to learn to work with a Basuki boss. Sometimes they need their space. Respect that, and time your visits to the water cooler accordingly.

5. What Success Menas to a Basuki

For Basuki, success means the feeling of flow. Money is entering their bank account, they feel like they are doing solid work at their jobs. When the flow starts to feel awkward, or it feels like things aren't working, it's a sign for Basuki to reassess and make changes. A Basuki doesn't identify themselves by their job title or the amount of money in their wallet, but if they feel bad, it's a sign that something isn't working.

Predictions for the year 2022:

1. Overview

You love to look on the bright side, and with your home planet Neptune traveling in your idealistic sign all year, you get the chance to stay in your ideal little dream world a lot in 2022. The good news is that you can rely heavily on your intuition and what your subconscious creates in the way of daydreams and visions to give you surprisingly accurate info about which direction to take this year.

However, Neptune’s retrograde cycle does last half the year, from the end of June through the end of December, which could cause your idealistic outlook on life to come to a screeching halt. Once you get used to living in a dreamy haze early in the year, you won’t want to face some of the realities that are evident now, but you’re actually tougher than you seem, Basuki. This is a good time to show everyone what you’re capable of when you decide not to procrastinate any more.
The sun drifts through your creative, intuitive sign from the end of February to the end of March, so have fun celebrating your solar return this spring! Because you thrive in your own dreamy imagination, you’re an introvert who craves solitude to daydream all about the possibilities that life has to offer. Spending your special birthday time with your closest friend at a cabin by a lake or reading books alone on a beach would be ideal.

2. Couples

Just because your relationship might not be what you’d like it to be as the year begins, don’t give up hope, Basuki. As Venus spends her time retrograde in serious Capricorn at the start of the year, you’ll be deep in thought assessing and reviewing the mistakes you’ve made, and potentially blaming yourself for the lack of success you might feel your relationship is experiencing. Shake it off, though, because once you get done beating yourself up over the past, you have real work to do in the present.

By the time Venus gets to your compassionate sign early in April, you’ll be back under a hypnotic love spell that will help you remember why you fell in love in the first place. This is an ideal time to work on deepening your emotional connection and move to a more intense phase of your relationship. Watch out for only celebrating the good while ignoring the bad now, however. Looking on the bright side is great, but ignoring your problems won’t make them go away.

There’s a Basuki full moon to look forward to early in September that finds you at your most compassionate and understanding. Your receptive and sympathetic mood makes it easy for your partner to open up to you, and this can be a very healing time in your relationship. You might have a harder time forgetting than forgiving, but time heals all wounds. If you’re struggling internally about any pain you’ve experienced so far this year, give it until next month’s full moon and see how you feel then.

3. Singles

Is this your year to find true love, Basuki? Your love life gets a fiery boost from the aggressive combination of Mars in Sagittarius at the start of the year, immediately helping you be more spontaneous and adventurous. You come out of your shell ready to expand in all kinds of new ways, including romance. If you’re usually the type who sits back and lets other people make the first move, you might surprise yourself by asking out your secret crush (or at least sending them a flirty text)!

Love-seeking Venus pairs up with sensitive water sign Cancer in the middle of July, and you should feel more at home and comfortable surrounded by this emotionally sensitive energy. There is great potential for intimacy now, but you won’t be into superficial flirting, quickies, or one-night stands. Building a solid partnership (and even a family) is at the root of this transit’s desires, so you’ll be attracted to other singles who want the same security and emotional connection that you’re looking for in a relationship now.

Asteroid Vesta’s energy is linked with spirituality, sexuality, and boundaries, and as it spends time in your introverted and somewhat inhibited sign from late November through the rest of the year, you’ll most likely be unwilling to be sexually open with someone until you know and fully trust them. Morality and religion can also be blocks to fully expressing your sexual self now, and it’s imperative that you know that honoring your personal beliefs and boundaries is nothing to be ashamed of. Don’t give in to pressure from anyone to do anything you aren’t ready for or just don’t want to do, Basuki.

4. Money & Career

You might not be the most confident person when it comes to career and financial situations, Basuki, but this year you’re ready to take advantage of all the great opportunities that come your way. It’s important to note that innovative Uranus is partnered with conservative earth sign Taurus for most of the year, so changes are slow to begin and steady to grow. It’s important to keep an open mind when dealing with both your job and your bank account, but if you feel rushed into making a decision, then that particular opportunity isn’t for you.

Venus rules over money, and when she’s in steady money-savvy Taurus at the end of May, this is when your finances should get the most attention. Saving will be your top priority now, or if you’ve managed to put some money away for a rainy day, this is also a good time to look around for bargains on solid items with long-term potential. Think quality furniture and good jewelry. Long-term, conservative investments should be considered now as well, and the lower the risk the better. If you haven’t put a retirement plan in place, make an appointment with a financial advisor in the next couple weeks.

Expansive Jupiter is in your creative sign until the first part of May, so you might have some career and financial opportunities that can benefit from your imagination and idealistic outlook. Could you find your dream job now? Quite possibly, especially if it has to do with helping others. You attract the most luck now when you use your compassion and understanding for the greater good, and what benefits the people you help comes back to you in one positive way or another. Financially, you have excellent intuition now, and you could hit some winning numbers in the lottery on a whim. This is also a good time to take care of things like wills and trusts, because your charitable, generous mood will be in full swing.
