Biography:

Bakri Hassan Saleh is a Sudanese politician who is the current First Vice President of Sudan. Saleh was appointed to the position on 8 December 2013 as part of a shakeup in the Sudanese leadership following the 2013 Sudanese protests. Saleh took part in the 1989 coup that brought Omar al-Bashir to power and served on the Revolutionary Command Council for National Salvation which governed Sudan following the coup.
