Biography:
Andrey Egorovich Borovykh was an aviator of the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War twice Hero of the Soviet Union and recipient of several other awards. Andrey Borovykh flew for the 157th Fighter Air Regiment of the 6th Fighter Air Corps of the 16th Air Army. He was born on October 30 1921 in Kursk. He graduated from the Chuguev Military Aviation School in 1940.
