Brent Erickson

Brent Erickson (born March 26, 1966) is an American computer and video game developer with many *les to his credit. He has been involved in nearly every aspect of game development, from design to production. He published his first game in 1978 for the TRS-80 and Apple computers. In 1983, Erickson began working with Access Software where he helped create more than 30 products including the best selling and award-winning Tex Murphy series of games.

In 1995, Erickson founded Flashpoint Productions where he designed Noctropolis and Golf Magazine: 36 Great Holes Starring Fred Couples. Flashpoint was purchased in 1995 by Bethesda Softworks, and Erickson became Bethesda's development director. While at Bethesda, he created drag racing games Burnout Championship Drag Racing, NIRA Intense Import Drag Racing and IHRA Motorsports. He was Lead Designer for Skip Barber Racing.

Erickson has been credited in over 50 software *les including such products as Martian Memorandum, Mean Streets, and the extremely popular golf simulation program, Links.
