Jose Rafael Evangelista Diaz (born April 3 1968) is the current Mayor of San Mateo Rizal. He took office on June 30 2007.Prior to his becoming mayor Diaz was Municipal Administrator for the San Mateo Rizal Municipal Government.[citation needed] Prior to that he worked as a stock broker and financial analyst.
