*anese politician (1934–2021)

Yoshio Yatsu (谷津 義男, Yatsu Yoshio, July 23, 1934 – June 3, 2021) was a *anese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Tatebayashi, Gunma and graduate of Hosei University, he was elected to the first of his three terms in the *embly of Gunma Prefecture in 1975 and to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1986. After losing his seat in 1990, he was re-elected in the same year. From 2000 to 2001 he served as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
