Loose adaptation of the HG Wells novel of the same name which is set in contemporary France. It is known for being filmed in the style of The Walking Dead and it follows different groups of survivors who team up after an apocalyptic extra-terrestrial strike.
Trivia:
The show was created by Howard Overman and was also aired on Canal+ in France. It is the third television adaptation of the novel.
