Sallai Meridor

Biography:

Sallai Meridor is an Israeli politician. He was the Israeli Ambassador to the United States between 2005–2009 appointed by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. Previously Meridor had served as the Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the World Zionist Organization from 1999–2005 Treasurer of the Jewish Agency and WZO and as the Head of the Settlement Division of the WZO. Meridor also serves as the international chairman for the Jerusalem Foundation.
