Said Tayeb Jawad

Biography:

Said Tayeb Jawad is an Afghan diplomat. He was appointed Afghan Ambassador to the United States on December 4 2003 by President Hamid Karzai and served as Ambassador until September 22 2010. He also served as Afghanistan’s non-resident Ambassador to Mexico Brazil Colombia and Argentina. He previously was Chief of Staff to the Afghan President in 2002 and 2003.
