Biography:
George Warren was a British General who was a major figure in the Afghan and Indian wars of the early 19th century. George Warren was born in Devon about 1801. He joined the Royal Munster Fusiliers and was posted to HM Indian Forces. On 18 January 1826 as a Lieutenant he took part in the Storming of the Jungeena Gate at Bhurtpore.
