Fausto Pocar

Biography:

Judge Fausto Pocar is an Italian jurist. He is professor of International Law at the University of Milan. From 1984 to 2000 he was an elected member of the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations serving as the committee's chair from 1991 to 1992. Pocar served in the Italian delegation to the UN General Assembly in New York and to the Commission of Human Rights in Geneva several times.
