Biography:
Eknath Gaikwad is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India and was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Mumbai South Central constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Indian National Congress political party. He has been a three time Member of Legislative Assembly from Dharavi and also twice state minister of Maharashtra state cabinet. Since 1985 he has represented Dharavi which is Asia's largest slum.
