David Michael Maurer (born April 17 1977) is an American Television and Film Editor/Director. His work has been experienced by hundreds of millions of television viewers on such shows as Whale Wars Profiles From The Front Line American Idol: The Search for a Superstar (2002) and The Apprentice. Mr. Maurer garnered 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 Emmy Award Nominations for his work on The Apprentice as well as a Cine Golden Eagle award for his work on the short film Blackmailing Santa.
