Anna Hagwall

Swedish politician

Anna Hagwall (born 19 January 1953) is a Hungarian-born Swedish politician. She was a member of the Swedish Riksdag since 21 February 2013 until 2018.

She came to Sweden in 1972 through her marriage to a Swedish man. She worked as an optician before becoming elected to parliament in 2013 to replace Erik Almqvist.

It was announced on 5 December 2016 that Hagwall had been expelled from the Sweden Democrats after she had made remarks deemed antisemitic. She has since become a member of the Alternative for Sweden party.
