Kazuo Hirotomo (弘友 和夫, Hirotomo Kazuo, born August 17, 1944) is a *anese politician of the New Komeito Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kitakyūshū, *uoka and graduate of Chuo University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993 after serving in the city *embly of Kitakyushu. In 1998, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time.
