M. Chaya Ratan (born 26 January 1953 ; Andhra Pradesh India) is an Indian politician and a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. She is contesting for the 16th Lok Sabha of India from the Secunderabad constituency of Andhra Pradesh and is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) political party.Chaya Ratan is a 1977 batch IAS officer. She succeeded B. P. Acharya as the Home Secretary of Andhra Pradesh in February 2012.
