A misfit girl dreaming of life in outer space recruits a group of misfit elementary school-age Birdie Scouts to be part of a competition. The movie is directed by Bert & Bertie and was written by Beasts of the Southern Wild co-writer Lucy Alibar.
Trivia:
The movie is inspired by Alibar's 2010 play Christmas and Jubilee Behold The Meteor Shower. The February 1st release date was the world premiere of the film at Sundance Film Festival.
