Horror-comedy written by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg and directed by the former which plays as a parody of zombie films. It is the first film in Wright and Pegg's Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, followed by Hot Fuzz and The World's End.
Trivia:
Wright and Pegg won a British Independent Film Award for Best Screenplay. It won in the category of Best Horror Film at the Saturn Awards.
