A father desperately tries to get his son a Turbo-Man action figure for Christmas at all costs. The film grossed $129 million at the box office worldwide and was followed by the straight-to-DVD sequel Jingle All the Way 2 in 2014. 

Trivia:

The film was shot in Minnesota, in the twin cities Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Two of the films leads, Sinbad and Phil Hartman, had previously co-starred in the 1995 film Houseguest.
