A pair of low level astronomers go on a media tour to inform the public of an asteroid on course to destroy Earth. The film was written and directed by Adam McKay. Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi, who star in the film, also wrote the titular track "Don't Look Up" for the film's soundtrack. 

Trivia:

Several major actors make cameos in the film including Chris Evans and Sarah Silverman. The film received four Golden Globe nominations, including Best Picture - Musical or Comedy.
